The face of Peace tea towel is an adaptation of Picasso’s work. In 1951 the artist illustrated the Face of Peace, a book by his friend Paul ÉLUARD, a surrealist poet.
After the Second World War, aware of the need to work for peace, Picasso became a fervent activist. The book contains 29 lithographs.
