Cherry season is nearly here!

Quick and easy to make, this cherry and pistachio crumble is delicious! The crumble dough is made from flour, sugar, ground almonds, pistachios and butter to change from the traditional recipe. Served with a scoop of ice cream, this crumble will be perfect!

Number of people: 6

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 600g cherries
  • 70g of flour
  • 70g of ground almonds
  • 100g powder sugar
  • 70g unsalted shelled pistachios
  • 80 g of butter + 1 teaspoon for the mold

1. Preheat the oven to 210° and butter your mold. Hull the cherries, cut them in half, pit them and put them in the dish. Coarsely chop the pistachios.

2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, ground almonds, pistachios and butter in chunks.

3. Rub the mixture with your hands in order to obtain a coarse sand consistency (or use a mixer/blender, working it in spurts).

4. Spread the crumbles over the cherries, bake for 30 min. Serve warm or cold, possibly with vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy!
